Fluffy’s Holiday Wish List

December 1 2020

Have you started your holiday shopping yet? Or do you always end up rushing out at the last minute? We probably aren’t going to be much help in suggesting gifts for that aunt who has everything, but we can recommend a few things that your cat may enjoy. A local Crown Point, IN vet suggests a few gifts for your kitty below.

Toys are great gifts for any furball. If you have a kitten, you’ll need lots of toys, and of all different types. Older felines may be more selective, as they may have settled on a few favorites. If your furry pal is in her senior years, she may appreciate toys that squeak or light up, as they’ll be easier for her to track.

Fluffy won’t mind if there’s a can of tuna or boneless salmon in her stocking. You can also get her store-bought treats. Or, if you like cooking, you can even make your pet some homemade ones. Just be sure to stick to things that are healthy for kitties.

Your furry little friend may already have a bed or three, but she’s always looking for new places to curl up for a nap. If you want to save money, or just like making things, you can also make your kitty’s bed. (This is also a fun and easy project for kids.)

Technology has advanced in leaps and bounds over the past few years, and Fluffy has not been left behind. You can find all sorts of new gadgets for your furry pal. Kitty water fountains, remote controlled mice, and automated laser pointers are just a few of the ones we think our feline patients will appreciate.

Kitty TV

Did you know that there are now programs made just for Fluffy? Some cats seem to really enjoy watching shows about birds, mice, and other little critters. Of course, your results may vary.

A cat tower is another great option. Fluffy may also enjoy a fun kitty activity center, or a pet condo.

Watching Fluffy’s zany antics can be just as much fun for you as it is for her. Our feline buddies are never as entertaining as they are when they’re feeling the effects of catnip.

Happy Holidays! Please reach out to us, your local Crown Point, IN pet hospital, if ever we can be of assistance.
